Rolex 2-Tone watches - Perfect for your colorful personality
Rolex is one of the most popular brands in the world today. Rolex watches have it all- elegance, quality, absolute finesse and popularity. Rolex also happens to be proud of their two tone watches as well. Over the years, many people are beginning to show growing inclination towards two tone watches. Of course, they offer the perfect blend. The design of two tone watches ensure that the watch does not look plain and at the same time it makes sure that the watch doesn't look to elaborate or gaudy.
There are a few Rolex Two tone watches that are worth a mention. In fact, Rolex introduced two new Rolex two tone watches at the Baselworld 2009. One of them was the two- tone Rolex Submariner and the other was the two- tone Rolex Date Just.
The Rolex Submariner in two- tone has a lot of changes over the all gold Rolex Submariner that was introduced at Baselworld 2008. The most obvious change, of course, was the addition of stainless steel to the original 18k yellow gold watch. A blue- black Cerachrome or ceramic Bezel has been used in this new edition as against the old aluminum bezel. The dial now used is the maxi dial with lager indices, markers and fatter hands. There is a new clasp that is adjustable for wear over diving suits. This is mostly due to the double extension system that is made of Fliplock extension links and a new clasp. This two tone Rolex Submariner has a water resistance of 300 meters and works with a COSC certified chronometer. It also has an automatic winding movement that produces over 28,800 vibrations per hour.
Another Rolex two tone watch unveiled at Baselworld 2009 was the two tone Date Just II model. The Date Just II is based on grandeur. It has a baton marker along with luminescence at 9 o' clock and the green theme Roman numerals lend some appeal to the two- tone Rolex Datejust II. There is a two tone Date Just II model with Arabic numerals as well. In these models, the numbers are emblazoned in the watch, contributing much to its grandeur. The watch comes with an Oyster bracelet, fluted bezels. Overall, the watch is highly appealing.
Apart from these two models, there are other Rolex watches based on the two- tone theme. One of them is the Rolex Two- tone Daytona. This watch comes with a stainless steel and yellow gold oyster band and a yellow gold tachymeter bezel. This watch features automatic moment and sapphire crystal. The case size is 40mm, making it a comfortable wear. The dial, however, is the most appealing feature of the watch. The dial is studded with eight round, white diamonds, thus making the Rolex two- tone Daytona look highly appealing and elegant. This watch, like its other Daytona counterparts is not only a gorgeous day to day wrist watch, it also acts as a precision stop watch- it is capable of measuring time accurately to a fifth of a second.
The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, named after the famous 24 Hours of Daytona Race at the time, was introduced in 1960 as a true chronograph line. It is two watches in one: a highly accurate, masculine everyday wrist-watch and a precision stop-watch (or chronograph) always ready to measure elapsed time accurately to a fifth of a second.
Another Rolex two- tone watch is the Ladies' Rolex Two- tone Date Just. This two tone version adds a lot of charm to the traditional stainless steel one. Just by adding 18k yellow gold to the band's center links, the Two- tone Date Just turned into a dressier, more fun version of its stainless steel counterpart. And to make it better, this watch is available in a number of gorgeous diamond options, like beadset bezel, string diamond dial etc.
And finally, the Rolex two tone Perpetual Datejust watch. This men's watch is certainly handsome and winning. The watch incorporates an Oyster band that is made of stainless steel and 18k yellow gold. The crown of the watch is styled as a screw down. It also has a date display at 3.00 which comes with a magnified window. The watch dial is black and steel with stick hour markers. The bezel is 18k yellow gold domed. This watch is proof of Rolex's unvarying attention to details and the sheer elegance of their watches.
As far as any Rolex watches go, the quality and elegance is not a question. But with the Rolex two tone watches, you're treating yourself to a dose of style and elegance.
